Kevin Spacey and Badr Jafar team up to establish a Middle East drama academy. 

Says Jafar, “We’re looking at encouraging potential scriptwriters, actors, producers – the whole range. Theatre is lacking in the region. When was the last time you saw a good, locally-produced play here?”

Doha Film Institute which launched last year and now this academy. Its good to see these initiatives encouraging and enabling local talent.

After 7 years of renting my own Linux server, I've decided to part ways with managing my own hosting space and blogging software (Wordpress, Drupal) and go with Posterous.

It took me a long time to make the actual move, primarily because I couldn't figure out how to move all my posts from my Drupal blog to Posterous cleanly. My Hosting company of 7 years sorted this problem out for me by closing my account prematurely and wiping all my data out.
